Amateur Incentive Classes

The person showing must be owner of record on the registration papers.

All leases on horses/ponies used in Amateur Incentive classes must be recorded, processed, and completed through the Registry by December 31 of current show year.

Any lease done after January 1st, the amateur cannot participate in any amateur incentive class.

Classic Shetland Stallion Sweepstakes

The 2011 Classic Shetland Stallion Sweepstakes Auction opens at MIDNIGHT January 1st, 2012 and will close at 9pm CST February 1st, 2012. This auction is for stallion services for the 2012 BREEDING season with the resulting foal crop in 2013.

Are Due "Postmarked" by January 15

Journal Advertising/Editorial Deadlines

Editorial deadlines for regular submissions such as club or area columns, letters to the editor or youth bio is still the 1st of the month, however, advertising deadlines are now the 15th of the month of the odd months.

For example: January 15th for the Feb. issue; March 15th for the April issue; May 15th for the June issue; July 15th for the August issue; September 15th for the October issue; and November 10th for the December issue.

Show Mangers will have to take a TEST in 2012 and pass (fee $20), remember - show managers have to be current ASPC/AMHR members.

Breeder/Owner/Trainers Banners on New Website
For those members who have a Breeder/Owner/Trainer Ad in the Journal WITH a Photo - You are eligible for a FREE banner next to your listing. The banner needs to be 200px × 60px.

Recognized Clubs Logos - If you are a current Recognized Club with ASPC/AMHR - we will add your Club Logo and Website to our Club Listing - No Charge!
