The Breeder of the Year Award honors the top breeder in Classic Shetland, Modern Shetland and AMHR Miniature Horse as shown by their show ring winnings. 

Hall of Fame results are tabulated up to and including the entire year (Dec 1 thru Nov 30). Breeders of those horses receive credit in the following manner:

  1. Points to be awarded in the same method as Hall of Fame point system. Using the total Hall of Fame (from current show year) points from the ASPC/AMHR/ASPR computer system, breeders shall be awarded those HOF points earned by the animals of their breeding.

  2. Regional and National Futurities to be counted. Points to be awarded in the same method as the Hall of Fame point system.

The ASPC/AMHR/ASPR All-Star high point awards recognize the most outstanding and successful show horses and ponies in competition each year. Points are awarded in approved All-Star classes on the basis of placing and the show's classification.

Hall of Fame awards recognize and give permanent, lifetime championship status to the breed's greatest show horses and producers of show horses, the ASPC/AMHR/ASPR administers and maintains the ASPC/AMHR/ASPR Hall of fame and in order for a pony or horse to receive Hall of Fame points, the owner (including youth) must be a current member in good standing with the ASPC/AMHR/ASPR. Sires and dams of Hall of Fame horses are also recognized by becoming Superior sires and dams.
