ASPR Futurity

The ASPR Futurity is the newest futurity which started with Foals born in 2015. This breeding program encourages breeders to breed the best quality ASPR show horses possible by selecting the correct mares and using stallions to compliment the mares. It gives a breeder a chance to use his/her judgement. The ASPR Futurity is a five year program (Weanling, Yearling, Two Year Old, Three Year Old and Four Year Old) determined at the ASPC/ASPR Congress using the Modern Shetland Futurity Judge.

All Foals shown must be the produce of stallions and mares who are registered ASPR and have been previously nominated in the American Show Pony Futurity. All owners, co-owners, drivers and handlers must be members of the American Shetland Pony Club in order for the entry to show in the Futurity classes.
